What a year thus far, to say the least. What I find most heavy upon me is not the state of mankind, nor the politics of the day, nor even eschatological placement of our age, no, not these. The thing that weighs most heavy upon me is the constant 'pole positioning' of leaders / pastors in the professing church.
"God can never make us into wine if we object to the fingers He uses to crush us with. If God would only use His own fingers, and make me broken bread and poured-out wine in a special way! But when he uses someone whom we dislike..."
On Sunday evening, September 20th, 2020, Paul Washer preached a powerful and most essential message at Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, CA. The foundational text for the evening was 1 John 5:11-12.
Through every trial, including being attacked by an angry mob led by prosperity gospel “pastors” intending to chase us out of Kenya and take over our project, and even being jailed, God has been so good and gracious to us. He has provided for our every need and we would not want to change a thing. He has drawn near to us as we have drawn near to Him (James 4:8).

As some of you know, over the last few months so much has changed, for some people more than others, regardless, people are feeling the effects. However, let us not be ignorant nor blind to the truth and where the battle really lies. Having said this, I was deeply blessed and encouraged by Paul Washer's video today!

It seems with all that Satan, through the world and it's system and the wicked hearts of evil men, has been throwing at us politically, in terms of health, and with all of the pressures of fear in American cities, many are losing hope and turning else where for relief. However, if indeed you are a true Christian, then you should "fear not" nor lose hope.
